OL: Height, weight differ from high school to Combine

The NFL Combine welcomes players with a cattle call registration process that provides official height and weight numbers. It is done this way because many times what is listed inside the college media guides are often inflated to the players benefit.

What can be dramatically different are the numbers that the players claimed on their own while going through the recruiting process.

Below is a chart listing the players official height and weight from the NFL Combine compared to what they were listed at as prospects by Rivals.com.

Among the position groups the offensive lineman had some of the most dramatic changes.

Players like Trai Turner lost 30 pounds while he was at LSU. Morgan Moses dropped 33 at Virginia. Marcus Martin fell an impressive 37 after arriving at USC.

As a group the offensive lineman still gained 1171 pounds. It was lead by Spencer Long who packed on 70 pounds and grew an inch after arriving at Nebraska.
