NationalHSFootball.com has built its reputation among high school football fans by providing the most trusted rankings in the industry alongside the best coverage of top-tier teams.
The discussion found on The Varsity Board has helped spread knowledge across fanbases as users from the Atlantic East and the West Regions discuss the game with those in the South, Heartland, Lakes, and beyond.
Over seven seasons many of our members have posted their own rankings and debated the merits of teams from coast-to-coast and it has inspired us to usher in a new era.
Starting with National Week Seven of the high school football season, NationalHSFootball.com opens its gates to a User Top 25.
Here is how it will work:
Each Sunday afternoon — after the rankings meetings have concluded — fans will be given until Monday at midnight to log onto the site and edit their own rankings based on the list of 100 teams that will appear in the HSFB100 on Monday. The teams will be listed first by record and then sorted alphabetically, not in the order they will appear in the HSFB100.
The opportunity to participate will be limited to members only. If you do not have a free user name you can create one by clicking this link.
Once you are logged in and the list is released you will go to this link and find each week’s list of teams. The rankings page should look like this, if you are a visual learner.
From there a user will select the appropriate week for rankings, click the link and continue into the rankings process.
The rankings tool allows you to drag and drop the teams inside the HSFB100 to create you own Top 25. It will automatically list the number of the team in order from 1-25 as you build your rankings. The page will look like this, for visual learners.
If you feel a team doesn’t belong inside the Top 25 you can simply delete it and continue with your rankings. Once you have your list of 25 teams click the ‘save changes’ tab and your votes will be tabulated with the rest of those participating.
The resulting User Top 25 Poll will be released Tuesday.
